When
Elizabeth Hawthorne stepped onto the stage at the McMorran
Place Theater
on September 22,
2007 she could not believe she would be walking away as MISS
MICHIGAN TEEN USA® 2008. Elizabeth is a student attending
Clarkston High School.
Elizabeth
will not only be busy preparing for MISS TEEN USA®,
she will also spend her time as a spokesperson for National
Osteoporosis Foundation and completing her book “No
Bones About It’.
Elizabeth is also involved with the Clarkston Coalition For
Youth; S.A.D.D and the Octagon Club.
In
Elizabeth's spare time, she enjoys vocal ensemble, drama
and theater club, modeling and dance. She feels very blessed
to have
won the title of MISS MICHIGAN TEEN USA® 2008 and is eager
to make a difference, travel her state and the county and represent
Michigan in the 2009 MISS TEEN USA® Pageant.
The Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE®,
MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® Pageants, is a Donald J.
Trump and NBC Universal partnership. Miss Teen USA spends her
year building relationships with organizations committed to education
and action, such as Best Buddies, Outside the Classroom, Do Something,
Sparrow Clubs and D.A.R.E.
