Proctor Productions, LLC. independently produces the MISS MICHIGAN USA® and MISS MICHIGAN TEEN USA® competitions under a license agreement with Miss Universe L.P., LLLP. The Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE®, MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® competitions. Together these organizations advance and support today’s women. These women are savvy, goal oriented and aware. The contestants who become part of the organization display those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals who participate in the competitions to advance their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives of others.

Television and More
The women selected by the panel of judges will advance to the MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA competitions. Hundreds of millions of people know the Miss Universe Organization as the producer of three landmark annual television events. Proctor Productions, LLC. provides opportunities, mentoring and resources for the titleholders in the state of Michigan to be personally enriched. The titleholders that have the fortune to advance to MISS TEEN USA, MISS USA and possibly MISS UNIVERSE personify the combination of beauty and intelligence of women today.

The Contestants
MISS USA contestants must be at least 18 and under 27 by February 1st in the national telecast year in which they participate. MISS TEEN USA contestants must be at least 15 and under 19 by September 1st in the national telecast year in which they participate.

How
The Miss Universe Organization is a global organization reaching every state and scores of countries around the world. As their preliminary steps the contestants compete in their state pageants; which are produced by local and state pageant directors. (Michigan - Proctor Productions, LLC.) The state winners become the contestants for the national competition. MISS UNIVERSE® contestants must win their respective national titles in their countries to compete in the event.
